2007 Season:
Adams enters into his fourth season in the NFL. After three seasons with the San Francisco 49ners, Adams signed a free agent contract with the Cleveland Browns. Adams has the ability to play both safety and corner, and looks to add veteran depth to the secondary.
2006 Season:
Adams third season with San Francisco, he started in 8 games and played in all 16. He saw action at both safety and corner throughout the season; however, seven of the eight starts were at free safety. Adams recorded 67 tackles, 3 PBU, while also recording 12 special teams’ tackles. In 2005 he started 10 games, appearing in 14. He started 10 games, which is his career high. He also recorded 68 tackles, 1 sack, 1 forced fumble, and tied for the team lead with 4 interceptions.
Biography:
Adams entered the league as an undrafted free agent in 2004 after playing for the University of Delaware where he started 23-of-43 career games. He recorded 213 career tackles, 14 PBU and He ranked 11th in school history in interceptions with 11.
Adams was born of Michael Carl Adams on March 24, 1981 in Paterson New Jersey, where he was one of seven children. He attended Passaic Tech High School in Patterson New Jersey, where he played football earning all-state honors and ranked as one of New Jersey’s top 100 players. He also lettered in track, and baseball.
