PRO CAREER: Heads into first season with Chicago tied for 4th among active safeties in the NFL with 16 career sacks, which is also tied for 1st with Arizona’s Adrian Wilson for most sacks by a safety since 2001… Only safety in NFL to record at least 1 full sack every year since joining the League in 2001… Started 76 of 88 career games played with 597 tackles, 3 INTs, 4 forced fumbles, 5 fumble recoveries and 3 defensive return TDs (2 fumble and 1 INT)… Tied for 2nd among active Chicago defenders with 3 defensive TD returns… In 5 seasons with St. Louis (2001-2005) finished in the top 3 on the team in tackles on 3 occasions, leading the team in 2002 (149), 2nd in 2004 (123) and 3rd in 2005 (93)… Has started all 6 career postseason appearances with 39 tackles, 1 PBU and 1 fumble recovery… Registered 5 sacks in 2003, tied for 9th most in a single season by an NFL safety since sacks were first recorded in 1982 and most ever in a single season by a Rams safety… Has earned NFC Special Teams Player of the Week (vs. SEA, 11/14/04) and NFC Defensive Player of the Month (November of 2003) honors during career… Named to all-rookie teams by The Football News and Pro Football Weekly following 2001 season.
