| Tampa Bay landed Jurevicius during the 2002 offseason via free agency. He signed a four-year contract with the Bucs.
Jurevicius' 6-foot-5, 230-pound frame made him one of the most sought after free agent receivers during the 2002 offseason.
Jurevicius, 27, had the best season of his career in 2001, when he caught a career-high 51 passes for 706 yards and three touchdowns.
A four-year veteran out of Penn State University, Jurevicius had spent his entire career with the Giants after New York selected him in the second round of the 1998 NFL Draft. He started 13 of the 58 games he played in as a Giant and hauled in 102 passes for 1,442 yards and five touchdowns.
He is not known for speed, but Jurevicius is known for using his size to work his way around and beat defensive backs for the football. Jurevicius likely will occupy the No. 3 wide receiver spot opposite wide receivers Keyshawn Johnson and Keenan McCardell.
