| Jerry Porter has all the tools to become one of the best wide receivers in the league. Sporting great size, speed, and strength, he recognizes the defensive coverage well and appears smooth as silk in locating the zones and seams of a defense. Utilizing his good speed, quickness, and physical strength, Porter has displayed the ability to fight through a defender for the ball while possessing very agile, quick feet which generates his ability to beat the defense while avoiding significant contact. The one problem with Porter is he lacks consistency and focus. At times he is tremendous running a route, the next time he runs the route he will round it off. Same issues reside in his receiving skills, though he has shown continuous improvement in this area. |
