Though most NFL teams haven’t announced any cuts yet, the Kansas City Chiefs are starting to make some noise. It appears they've traded one of their unhappy players and waived one of their three quarterbacks.

Per ESPN the Kansas City Chiefs have dealt their unhappy safety and their third string quarterback. He’s not the only surprise of the day.

Per our friends at 610 Sports Nick Wright is reporting that the Chiefs have cut third string quarterback Tyler Palko.

That move opens the door for a flurry of rumors involving recently released quarterback Matt Leinart.

Per our spies, the Chiefs have interest in the free agent quarterback and we’re told it’s not likely that Kansas City is going to carry just two quarterbacks.

Leinart was the 10th overall pick from the 2006 draft class. Ironically, the Chiefs current starter, Matt Cassel, was Leinart’s back up at USC.
