Raiders wearing the whites vs Chargers

Maybe it’s a symbolic gesture of Lane Kiffin’s potentially last game as Oakland’s head coach. Or maybe it’s just a twist to try to shake things up. Whatever the case, the Raiders took to the field Sunday wearing the white jerseys, the ones usually reserved for road games.

No one was able to confirm if the Raiders have ever played a home game without wearing the black jerseys. San Diego wore dark blue jerseys for the game, scheduled to start at 1:05 p.m. Speculation is that it could very well be Kiffin’s final game. Rumors that the head coach’s job is in jeopardy have been ongoing for weeks now and the issue could come to a head if Oakland loses.

The Raiders released their list of inactives, chief among them right guard Cooper Carlisle and nickel back Stanford Routt. Running back Justin Fargas, wide receiver Todd Watkins, and tackles James Marten and Seth Wand were also inactivated while Marques Tuiasosopo is listed as the third quarterback.
