Raiders sign Mario Henderson

The Oakland Raiders came to terms with offensive tackle Mario Henderson.

After being used at right tackle and tight end early in his collegiate career, Mario Henderson was moved to left tackle as a senior and displayed a nasty attitude and good blocking technique for Florida.

While he was solid in pass protection, he is not the mauler that his size says he should be and will be groomed as part of the increasing depth the Raiders possess on the offensive line.

The Raiders traded a seventh-round pick this year and a 2008 third-round pick to move up in the draft to nab Henderson.
