Terdell Sands reportedly signed a four-year, $17 million deal that includes a $4 milion signing bonus.
Sands has been viewed as a young, ascending player. The 6-foot-7, 335-pounder notched 41 tackles in 2006 after collecting 36 over his first five seasons. More importantly, he freed up the linebackers to make lays. He also added a sack and an interception.
Robert Thomas reportedly signed a three-year deal worth $6 million. The UCLA almuni secured 36 tackles in 2006, his first year in Oakland after beginning his career in St. Louis and playing in Green Bay for one season.
Sands and Thomas were both scheduled for unrestricted free agency.
