Quarterback Andrew Walter will make his first career start. Walter was the No. 69 overall selection of 2005 Draft out of Arizona St. (5th pick of Rd. 3), two slots below where the Browns drafted Charlie Frye out of Akron (No. 67 overall). Walter passed for eight first downs in week two at Baltimore.

Against the Browns last season (12/9/05), running back LaMont Jordan rushed for a career-high 132 yards on 25 carries (5.3-yd avg.) and caught five passes for 40 yards.

Wide receiver Randy Moss has 23 touchdown catches in 31 career October games. Moss's teams are 11-5 (.688) in October when he catches a touchdown. Moss (98) needs two touchdowns to reach 100 in his career. The Oakland passing attack averaging an NFL-best 14.3 yards per completion.

Frye has rushed for a touchdown in three consecutive games; the first Browns QB to do so since Hall of Famer Otto Graham (10/24-11/4/54). Frye's three rushing touchdowns are tied for the league lead.

Running back Jason Wright is 2-for-2 in 3rd-and-1 rushing attempts for first downs.

Wide receiver Braylon Edwards posted a career-high 116 yards last week versus Baltimore and has eclipsed the 100 receiving yard plateau for consecutive weeks for the first time in his career. Defensive tackle Ted Washington was a Raider from 2004-05, starting all 32 games. Cornerback Leigh Bodden recorded an interception in the last meeting (12/9/05).

Kicker Phil Dawson (6) leads the NFL in touchbacks on kickoffs. Kickoff coverage unit ranks No. 1 in the NFL in opponents' average drive start (18.4).
