Walters takes Raiders' reigns

Quarterback Aaron Brooks will be sidelined 2-4 weeks with a strained pectoral muscle in his right (throwing) shoulder, Raiders head coach Art Shell said Monday.

Brooks, who was hurt after fumbling the snap from center on two consecutive plays, underwent an MRI test earlier in the day and that revealed the injury. While there was no damage to the rotator cuff -- as team officials had originally feared -- it was significant enough to send the veteran quarterback to the sidelines for the next few weeks.
